Years of writing words for money has taught me one thing: good copy is a puzzle. How do you fit three ideas into four words? How do you make a paywall something people don't hate? How do you guide someone through an entire app experience without them ever stopping to think about the words?
This is where I come in.
Before going full time, I freelanced across SEO articles, social media management, travel guides, and ghostwriting. That led to four+ years at GreenTomato Media writing across 14+ live apps - party games, social games, relationship apps, an AI companion app, a narrative werewolf game. On the content side, I managed a team of freelance writers responsible for thousands of in-app challenges, with final editorial sign-off across everything. On the UX side, working directly with PMs and designers across UI copy, paywalls, ASO metadata and screenshots - from first wireframe to final string.
Below are three case studies and a breadth section. The case studies go deep. The breadth section proves the range.
🔧 Content complete, app in development
Built the voice and the content system behind a social deduction game - every word from scratch, including the death texts.
✅ Live on App Store
Writing for a deception game where every hint had to trick one player while guiding everyone else. Built the content system, the hint library, and UI copy that makes lying feel fun.
🔧 Content complete, app in development
Our studio had never built an AI companion app before. I built the content from the ground up - characters, tone of voice, system prompts, and every UI string.
